Cold Chisel were the band at the forefront of the Australian 'pub rock' scene of the late 70's and most of the 80's. They are acknowledged as one of the most popular and successful Australian groups of the period, although this success and acclaim was almost completely restricted to Australia and New Zealand. The frontman, Jimmy Barnes, went on to have a reasonably successful international career. Ian Moss, the band's guitarist, was a guitarist of great talent and went on to release a single which went number 1 on the Australian charts called "Tuckers Daughters" immediately upon persuing a solo career.
While much of the guitar work for Cold Chisel is rythm based strumming there are still plenty of great riffs, licks and solos to be found amongst this compilation. Ian Moss personally helped to compile this book so if you want to play along with one of Australia's greatest and most influential bands like you're "Mossy" himself, download this hard-to-find gem before it's too late.
