L'Hymne a L'Amour - Fingerstyle Guitar solo

L'Hymne a L'Amour (The Hymn to Love) is a populate French love song composed and sung by Edith Piaf.

I won't post the lyrics here since it is a French song and I can't read them.

Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis Presley - Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar Solo

I finally recorded this easy but beautiful piece on my acoustic guitar, it is based on Bill Tyers' fingerstyle arrangement. There are some squeaking noise that I can't get rid off, maybe I need to change my string selection. You can read about this song's true and faithful love on Wiki.

I changed some left hand fingering for easier chord changing, and I shortened the last repeat. Original tab can be downloaded from my Free Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar Tabs section.

My Sassy Girl - "I Believe", Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar solo

Unlike Winter Sonata, I personally watched My Sassy Girl (엽기적인 그녀 我的野蠻女友). It is a big hit after its 2001 release and this Korean romantic comedy is definitely one of my all time favorite love movie. The ending is very surprising and you have to see it. There is a U.S. remake of this movie (2008, starring Elisha Cuthbert and Jesse Bradford), but it is not nearly as good. I only watched the first 10 minutes and decided to quit.

I played the theme song a few times on my acoustic guitar with a couple of different fingerstyle arrangements. Tabs can be found in my Fingerstyle Acoustic Tabs section. Subscribe to my YouTube video

1. My Sassy Girl "I Believe", Chris Wong's arrangement. I had new strings on so it may sound a bit off key.

2. Yet another version in public domain. I put the capo on the second fret

Winter Sonata 겨울연가 冬季戀歌 - Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar Solo

Winter Sonata is more than just a love story. This Korean hit TV drama touches many females throughout Asia with its winter scenes, music, and the theme of pure love. Is true love a fantasy? You tell me. Every female I know, including my other half, loves addicted to the pure love between Joon-sang and Yu-jin.

Enough said. How I got exposure to the music was simply because the drama was constantly played on my TV. Its music is very melodic and romantic, so I decided to play them on my acoustic guitar. All three songs are fingerstyle arrangements for solo guitar. Tabs can be found in my Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar Tabs section. Subscribe to my Youtube video
